SPRING CLEANING

The temperatures are warming up and sunset is getting later in the day. Spring is on the way and it is time to do some cleaning.

Spring is a busy time for window cleaning. If you need your windows cleaned on a specific date, it is important to call early and book the date. This time of year, it is not only Window Cleaning, but how about your gutters. Did you get you gutters cleaned in the fall. If you did not do it, now is the time before the Spring Rains.

We have a new product that cleans up oil and grease from concrete. If you have oily spots on your garage floor, call us and we can apply this powder to clean up the oil. It does not take long and we do it without pressure washing. This powder works it’s way into the concrete and the enzymes eat up the oil. We can do your entire garage floor and you do not have to wait till it dries. It works well.

We also do repair screens. If you need screens repaired, give us a call for a price or you can just bring them to our office. We will repair the screens and give you a call. We offer three types of screens, regular Fiberglass, Aluminum and Pet Screen.

WINTER CLEANING

Believe it or not, we can still clean windows during the winter months.

Most people feel that we stop cleaning window during December and January, but we don’t. We clean all of our commercial accounts in these months. The only item that slows down our cleaners is SNOW. The reason snow slows us down is the traffic. It takes longer to get from job to job because of the road surface. We can clean windows down to 10 degrees. We use additives that allow us to work down to this temperature. We can keep you windows shining all year around.

On residential cleaning, we do not use any additive on the inside of the house. We will use it depending on the temperature is under 15. Usually, hot water will stay ice free for awhile. Many of our cleaners will keep their buckets on the inside and this will keep the water from icing.

So don’t worry, if your windows are dirty, we can clean anytime.

WATERFED POLE WITH PURE WATER

We recently used our new carbon fiber pole while working with pure water.

Cleaning with pure water is coming on strong. It is a way that we can now clean a three to four story building without leaving the ground. We use a long carbon fiber pole with a brush on the end and a purification system that takes all of the total dissolved solids out of the water. We use water out of your outside faucets and run it through the purification system. Then the purified water goes up the pole onto the window glass. The brush helps loosen the dirt from the glass. The water takes the dirt from the glass. Without the total dissolved solids in the water, the water just sheens off of the glass without using a squeegee. The window is now clean.

We have been cleaning with purified water for the past 10 years. We have seen major changes in the type of pole. We have gone from aluminum to carbon fiber making the poles lighter and easier to use. Our purification systems have changed from using deionization tanks to a system that uses reverse osmosis, deionization, carbon filters and sediment filters some of which have pumps to accommodate a sixty (60) ft pole.

What does this mean for the building owner? We can clean the building faster and for a lesser cost. It also allows for the building owner not to install expensive tie downs for over the side work. For the Window Cleaning Company, it increases safety, we are not using large ladders, lifts, or going over the wall.
